This policy explains how GIF Splitter handles files and information associated with visiting and using the website. It applies to the tool and its language versions.
GIFs and exported images
Your selected GIF is read by your browser. Decoding, frame previews, PNG encoding and ZIP creation take place on your device. The tool does not upload your GIF, its frames or its filename to a server.
The application keeps working data in browser memory and does not save your GIFs in cookies, local storage or a remote account. Choosing another GIF or closing the page releases the application's current working state. Files you download remain in the location managed by your browser or operating system.
Website hosting
Cloudflare hosts this website and serves its pages, scripts and images. Loading those resources involves routine connection information, such as your IP address, request time, requested URL and browser headers. Cloudflare may process this information in access or security logs according to its own practices.
Choosing the optional sample downloads a sample GIF from this website. It does not send your own files anywhere. The tool does not contact an external conversion or translation service.
Analytics, cookies and local files
On www.gifsplitter.com, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand page interactions through usage analytics, heatmaps and session replay. Clarity sends interaction data to Microsoft and may use cookies, depending on user consent and Clarity settings. It is not loaded on local or pages.dev previews.
GIF decoding and exports remain on your device. The extraction area, including filenames, previews and extracted frames, is configured for masking in Clarity. Your controls and policy updates
You can use the tool without providing personal profile information. To remove downloaded files, use your device's file manager. Switching language navigates to another page and does not transfer the current GIF to that page.
